Stefanos Ntinapogias was born in 1980. He has studied piano performance with Margarita Efremidou at State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, where he also studied advanced theory of music (Harmony, Counterpoint) with Konstantinos Tsougras. He is a graduate of the Music Studies Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, holding a degree in Musicology & Music Education. In March 2004 he won the first prize at the Panhellenic and Pancypriot Piano Competition "Talents - Prizes of FILON" in Athens. In 2005 he was awarded by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for his participation as a pianist in the performance Collision, one of the three prize-winning performances at the interdepartmental competition celebrating the completion of 20 years since the foundation of the Faculty of Fine Arts of AUTh.He has performed as a pianist in various cities in Greece and abroad. Over the last years he has been teaching piano performance and theory of music in Thessaloniki while at the same time he performs as a soloist or as an accompanist and participates in chamber music ensembles.
